Yeah, glue stick works. I tried that too. But like I told the last person who asked, use a flat sided yo-yo if you can. Using a sticker or gluing paper on a rounded yo-yo gets kinda wrinkly. If you have any more questions on the costume, feel free to ask. I thought it was going to be easy but it proved harder than I thought. If you can't find a striped blue and yellow shirt, it's kinda tough making one. Here's mine: [link]

I bought a yo-yo and some of those big sticker labels you put on envelopes. Then I made the design in photoshop, printed it out on the label and stuck it on there! I also tried printing it on regular paper and used a glue stick to stick it on, which looks about the same. If you make one I suggest you find a yo-yo with flat sides, though.
